FX Artist Internship - Spring 2027

So you want to be an FX Artist?

Are you passionate about animation and visual effects? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a creative and collaborative environment? Qvisten Animation is offering an opportunity to join our talented FX team through our internship program in spring 2027!

• Assist in creating and refining effects for animated shots, following the established style of the project and maintaining continuity between shots.
• Help prepare simulations and caches for integration into the lighting and rendering pipeline.
• Participate in reviews, apply feedback and collaborate with other departments.
• Learn to plan your tasks, communicate progress and meet agreed deadlines with support from your mentor.

Expectations

• Currently pursuing a degreeor diploma in VFX, Animation, Media Arts, or related field

• Eagerness to learn and take direction, as well as contribute creatively

• A strong interest in procedural workflows, simulations and how effects support storytelling.

• Familiarity with Houdini with focus on FX creation. Experience with other 3D software is a plus.

• A keen eye for motion, timing, detail and aesthetics.

• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly.
