Character Animators Senior 3D [Germany]

• Collaborate with the Animation Supervisor and other team members to understand the project's goals and requirements.
• Take ownership of complex action sequences, including fight scenes, chase sequences, and character interactions.
• Create high-quality character animations that convey emotion, personality, and physicality, adhering to the project's artistic direction and style.
• Following tightly the project’s schedule and deliver on time.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest animation techniques and technology, and contribute to the studio's creative growth.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior animators, sharing your expertise and helping them improve their skills.
• Assist in the development and implementation of animation pipelines and workflows, optimizing efficiency and quality.
• Work closely with other departments, including modeling and rigging, to ensure seamless integration of characters and assets into the animation pipeline.
• Contribute to building and strengthening Qvisten Animation as a brand.Work to achieve Qvisten Animation’s vision, values, goals and strategy.

• Proven experience as a Senior CG Animator in the animation, tv or film industry capable of a high output a day.
• Strong showreel showcasing exceptional animated professional action sequences.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Maya.
• Strong understanding of traditional animation principles, timing, weight, acting and storytelling.
• Strong understanding of character anatomy and physics, especially in the context of action sequences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills, a motivated team player.
• Be able to take feedback and direction.

• Traditional 2D animation skills.
• Real life acting experience from tv, film or theatre.
