Compositing internship - Spring 2025

So you want to be a Compositor?

Are you passionate about animation and visual effects? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a creative and fast-paced environment? Qvisten Animation is excited to present the opportunity to join our talented Nuke team as one of two Compositors through our internship program spring 2025!

Compositors create the final image of a frame, shot or sequence, by combining various layers of renders, graphics and effects. The Compositor Intern reports to the Comp Supervisor.

• Creatively combine all the elements into the final image, ensuring that the established style of the project is respected and shot continuity is maintained
• Produce well under pressure, work in short timeframes, manage time and schedules efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality

Expectations

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in VFX, Animation, Media Arts, or related field

• Eagerness to learn and take direction, as well as contribute creatively

• Strong interest and understanding of the principles of compositing, color correction, and common VFX workflows like keying, matchmoving and colour space management

• Familiarity with compositing software Nuke (experience with others like After Effects is a plus)

• A keen eye for detail and aesthetics

• Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
