Asset Artist internship - Spring 2025

So you want to be an Asset Artist?

Are you passionate about asset creation and animation? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a creative and fast-paced environment? Qvisten Animation is excited to present the opportunity to join our talented team as a 3D Asset Artist intern through our internship program in spring 2025!

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating simple 3D assets, including models, UVs, textures, and materials, that align with the artistic vision of the project
• Collaborate closely with the Asset Supervisor and other departments to ensure delivered assets are optimized for our animation production pipeline.
• Work efficiently within tight deadlines, managing time and priorities to deliver assets on schedule
• Continuously learn and apply feedback in a dynamic production environment

Expectations

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in 3D Art, Animation, Game Design, or a related field
• Strong interest and understanding of 3D asset creation, including modelling, texturing, and shading
• Familiarity with 3D software such as Maya, Houdini, and Substance Painter (experience with other tools like ZBrush or Blender is a plus)
• A keen eye for detail, form, and surface qualities
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
